Overview

The most important thing to know about White Gold Mills™ is that we are a team comprised of cattle producers! We understand the unique challenges you face each day because we do too. We live it, so we get it!

And that’s why we developed the White Gold Mills Calving & Rebreeding Tub, representing complete nutrition in a tub. Here’s a quick summary of its key features and benefits.

  • This nutrient dense, high dry matter formula meets the nutritional demands of the calving, lactating, and rebreeding cow, which are 40% higher than the dry cow. Support your cow’s health and your livelihood during the 100 most important days of her year!

  • The proprietary White Gold Mills extrusion process DOUBLES whole cotton seed’s available bypass protein and bypass fat.

  • Added to the White Gold Mills extruded cottonseed meal is EXL 70-60, processed from Canola, Flax, and Lentil seeds, delivering 70% bypass protein and 60% bypass fat. Being rich in Omega 3 Fatty Acids—with Linoleic Acid, Linolenic Acid, and Oleic Acid—colostrum quality and quantity are increased in first milk. In total, more nutrition is absorbed and less goes into the manure pile.

  • The Calving & Rebreeding Tub is highly fortified with macro minerals including Calcium, Phosphorus, and Magnesium plus the most bioavailable trace minerals from NuTech™, including Copper, Manganese, and Zinc. Together they form the highest quality and most bioavailable Amino Acids and trace minerals on the market. Data collected indicates that weaning weights are improved by an average of 40 lbs. per calf, when cows are fed NuTech™ trace minerals.

  • The White Gold Mills Calving & Rebreeding Tub essentially doubles your return by not only feeding the cow but also the in-utero calf. And calves with higher intramuscular fat content at birth are more vigorous, less subject to stress, and more able to tolerate the cold. Your newborn calves will have their internal organs fortified through superior nutrition and be ready to achieve their genetic potential.

  • With the White Gold Mills Calving & Rebreeding Tub, you can increase your herd’s breed back and total conception rates. The bioavailability of Amino Acids and fats from our proprietary Extruded Cottonseed Meal and from EXL 70-60, play a significant role in body condition and hormone production for the cow. Numerous trials and studies have shown an increase in “first estrus” and “first service” by as much as 15%.

Feeding Instructions

Put Tubs out 30 to 45 days prior to calving through breeding. Provide one tub to 15 to 20 head of cattle, where animals congregate. Locate tubs throughout the pasture at loafing, grazing, feeding and water areas. Adequate distance must be maintained between tubs (20 feet minimum). Feed Tubs continuously along with plentiful source of average to good quality forage and clean fresh water. When a tub is two-thirds empty, provide a new tub near it.

Cattle will consume ½ to 1 pound per head per day. Consumption will vary depending on the body condition of animals, quality and quantity of forage being fed, seasonal weather conditions and—most importantly—location of the tub.

IF UNDER-CONSUMING, MOVE TUBS CLOSER TO LOAFING WATER AREAS; IF OVER-CONSUMING, MOVE TUBS FURTHER AWAY FROM LOAFING WATER AREAS.

CAUTION: Use only as directed. WARNING: Do not feed to sheep or goats.
